Unique Features
A rare townhouse in a prime Cotswolds location with an imposing stone fireplace in the dining hall provides manor-house grandeur. The Old Surgery is a subtle blend of its unique heritage and 21st-century design flourishes - from the Dalsouple rubber flooring in a cool monochrome bathroom to the neatly stacked showpiece logs in the dining hall room. But according to one generous reviewer "it’s the impressive modern artworks scattered throughout that really give the decor gravitas."
Inside
The Old Surgery boasts an elegant vaulted drawing room that opens out into both the beamed dining hall and onto the Provence style courtyard garden. The kitchen breakfast room features a six-ring double oven range cooker and is equipped for even the most ambitious amateur chef.
There are four bedrooms, two doubles with their own en-suite facilities, a twin room with the fourth bedroom having a small double and a single full height guest bed. There is a family bathroom and separate downstairs cloakroom. We are baby-friendly providing two cots and two high chairs.
The Old Surgery is equipped with iPod docks, flat screen televisions and DVD players, unlimited WiFi Broadband, a DVD, CD and book library, children’s toy box, Wii and a great selection of traditional games.
Outside
The Provence style high walled courtyard is planted with climbing Rose and Clematis, Box and Lavender. The German beer-hall table seats ten and the charcoal painted settle and wicker sofa are set around the contemporary fire-pit.
